Silent & exposed auctions, done right
Bid with confidence. Win with grace.
Baobid is a bidding platform with an African soul — built for charity galas, fundraisers, and estate sales, with live countdowns, sealed bids, anti-sniping, and instant outbid alerts.
Upcoming auctions
Discover lots open for bidding now.
Silent or exposed
Run sealed-bid silent auctions or fully transparent exposed bidding — set it per auction or per lot.
Anti-sniping
Last-second bids automatically extend the clock, so every lot closes fairly.
Instant alerts
Bidders are emailed the moment they're outbid, and winners are notified when the hammer falls.
For organisers
Set up an auction in minutes. Run it without lifting a finger.
Whether it's a charity gala, a fundraiser, or an estate sale, Baobid gives you everything you need to raise more — and none of the spreadsheet chaos.
- 01
Create your auction
Name it, set the open and close times, upload a banner, and choose silent or exposed bidding. Times run on Harare time, so the countdown everyone sees is the one you set.
- 02
Add your lots
Add each item with photos, a reserve, and a minimum increment. Override bidding rules per lot, and reorder them with a simple drag.
- 03
Go live & relax
Publish and share the link. Baobid runs the countdowns, extends the clock against snipers, alerts bidders, and crowns the winner automatically.
